Duminică noapte, la Los Angeles, a avut loc cea de-a 95-a ediţie a Premiilor Academiei Americane de Film. Premiile Oscar 2023 au fost decernate la Dolby Theatre din Los Angeles, Jimmy Kimmel fiind gazda ceremoniei pentru a treia oară. Printre câștigătorii Oscar 2023 se remarcă pelicula „Everything Everywhere All Once” („Oricine, oriunde, oricând”), care a primit 7 statuete, din 11 nominalizări.

Pentru a revigora interesul pentru Premiile Oscar, care în ultimii ani au înregistrat audiențe slabe, organizatorii au bifat câteva schimbări, iar cea mai evidentă este înlocuirea covorului roșu cu unul în culoarea șampaniei. Acesta a fost întins în fața Dolby Theatre din Hollywood, miercuri, 8 martie, cu 4 zile înaintea galei de duminică, 12 martie.

Albul s-a dovedit a fi culoarea care a ieșit în evidență în acest an. Vedetele au optat pentru un look minimalist, ușor nupțial, completat fericit de coafuri simple. Michelle Williams, nominalizată la categoria cea mai bună actriță, a strălucit în rochia Chanel Couture, iar Michelle Yeoh, desemnată cea mai bună actriță într-un rol principal, a strălucit într-o rochie Dior, cu decolteu în formă de inimă.
